Everything around us, from the houses we live in, to the objects we use in everyday life, has three dimensions: height, length, and width. When it comes to defensive handgun engagements, there is a 4th critical dimension — time. The 4DFD will teach you the importance of all 4 dimensions in concert with one another, in how to realistically approach and engage various types of threats in a very fluid and complex environment.
4-Dimensional Firearms Defense (4DFD)
The 4DFD is a foundational reality-based course that we are offering at our elite training facility. This course is not found anywhere else in our region. Initial skills and tactics covered include muzzle management in crowded areas, single threat engagements in various environments that increase in complexity to include decision making scenarios, working with a partner, multiple threat engagements, as well as realistic after-action tactics.
This class is strictly taught with NLTA (Non-Lethal Training Ammunition.) All equipment and NLTA ammunition are provided. This course is highly recommended for Armed Security, Church Security, LE, and CHL Holders.

- Hat with brim

- Long sleeve 2nd outer layer (sweatshirt etc)
- Shooting gloves – allows the ability to operate the handgun while protecting hands
- Athletic footwear for indoor training area – no open toe or boots allowed on mat
Force on Force Handgun Engagements
Lethal encounters are typically sudden, hyperviolent events that do not follow a set of prescribed rules. To be truly prepared, the worst-case scenarios must be contemplated and professionally trained for. These events may include multiple threats, enclosed or entangled positions, low light, working with a family member, being injured, rendering aid under fire, movement, hard pointing, house clearing, and the list goes on.
In this class, you will be exposed and trained to function at a high level in these extreme engagement factors.
