Managing Unknown Contacts (MUC)

Managing Unknown Contacts is a class that will help you gain the understanding and requisite skills in how to identify and navigate a situation with an unknown person with unknown intent that has suddenly injected themselves into your “space.”

This class builds on the skills learned from Situational Awareness, focuses on specific skills, and teaches to act when you encounter someone that does not feel ‘right.’ MUC will teach you how to control the interaction verbally and physically using proven principles of communication and solid tactics to deter or address any aggression. Coupled with Situational Awareness, this may be one of the most important classes we offer for civilian and trained professionals alike.
