Tactical Handgun Optics Course 1 (THOC-1)
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
THOC is designed for those seeking to master defensive handgun skills utilizing their handgun optics. This intensive program covers critical topics including optics selection, maintenance protocols, and precise zeroing techniques essential for effective performance in defensive scenarios. Participants will learn to exploit the biological optical response in high-stress gunfight situations, refining their speed, distance judgment, and accuracy under pressure. The course includes specialized instruction in one-handed and bilateral operations, emphasizing rapid dot acquisition and precise engagement across varying distances.
Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on mastering handgun optics manipulations and the vital “dot-down” procedures for managing optic malfunctions. Whether you’re a novice looking to enhance your defensive capabilities or a seasoned professional aiming to optimize performance, this course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently deploy handgun optics in real-world defensive situations.
